A few years ago we walked the shoreline and camped by the mini lake separated from the main lake by talus.
I know it's been a while but I was pretty disappointed that I didn't figure out your elbbarcsdraH rewoL photo considering I had just run into you there in September.

^ Looks like Circle (I think maps got names mixed up and they really meant this to be Venus and vice-versa).

Beautiful pano! I really enjoyed the scenery from the side tarn, and would be my top choice for a camp, although I didn't note any suitable campsites (other than hammocking in the trees).

Not Circle or Venus (note the larches)

We thought we would find an established site on the side but unfortunately not. We camped on grass/dirt (no heather).
