There are a fair # of fish rings in your pic.  I don't remember seeing any fish rising in Lyman although I did see a few fish in the inlet just out of the pic to the right of the the little pond on the upper right.  A gloomy day really mutes the amazing lake color.

This one doesn't have a name, so "name that lake". Knock yourself out. But remember, the best names like "perfection lake" and "Super pretty lake" are already taken, so, you may have to use imagination.

This is the bigger one near the one with no name. This one has a name. Clue: "Counterclockwise".

^ That isn't Cyclone Lake, and the little unnamed one just above it, is it?

Winner winner, freeze dried chicken dinner!

Yup, Cyclone. From a few days ago. I got the one sunny non smokey day I was hoping for Monday. Sunday was cloudy, and Tuesday was sunny/smoky. But I got my one perfect day at the right time.  Brought back a treasure trove of pics.

Another one of the un-named lake.  Maybe "Inspiring lake" would be a good name? Or "Gorgeous lake"?

Or even better, "Blue" lake. That's gotta be it.

When was this photo taken, Tom?  It's no wonder no one guessed this one! I would love to go someday. I hope they work on the route.

Dang, I figured the angle of view was limited enough that it would be really tough to get even for you...   biggrin.gif

Trail Blazers call that one Cyclone Pot #2. The other little lake that sits nearby is, surprise, Cyclone Pot #1.

This thread baffles me.
I just don't understand how anybody can recognize lakes based on some of the posted photos.
Based on the other results this one should be easy - not trying to stump anybody (just need confirmation you are not just messing with me).

Well, I see a rock in the lake. Just a guess. Sometimes it's like pulling a rabbit out of your hat if you've never been there.

By the way, the only reason I guessed that was someone recently asked me to ID the lakes in this video.

Apparently bear and mountain lion territory deep in the Pacific Northwest backcountry...  rotf.gif

Klar:

My only guess would would be LCR.
The first lake resembles Lake Byrne looking towards the outlet and a bit North of Glacier Peak and the second one being Camp Lake below the high ridge.

But the Whitechuck river valley looks much further away from that view than in your photo if I remember right.

Tom, If you are guessing Rock Lake that would be incorrect. But you are on the right track.
