If you click on the "Image" link you'll notice that the terraserver image boundary ends just before you get to Pinnacle Lake. I was hoping to get a shot of the Bathtubs and Summit Lake. In short, the entire state is not yet filled in as was hoped.

There are some programs that interact with terra server on http://jdmcox.com/ such as USA PhotoMap that allow you to print and calibrate maps for GPS etc. I have used this to interact with a GPS to give your position on the aerial photos. cool.gif

anyhelp? http://www.home.earthlink.net/~batcher2/anyhelp.jpg NN:)

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

I just spent a while checking to see what wasn't filled as of yet. It looks like there are only a couple of little spots that don't have photos yet. All of the North Cascades down to at least the Sauk is filled. It looked like the missing parts were probably around Pilchuck (stated above the Bathtubs weren't there yet), and another area maybe somewhere in the area of the Deer Creek drainage / Lake Cavanaugh northeast of Arlington, or somewhere just to the south of that area. I didn't check to be sure, I was too busy proving myself right that there is a 1500 foot waterfall on Boston Creek near Cascade Pass...looks like one helluva brush bash to see most of it...who's in?

Would you believe under 1/2 mile? Seriously, the road crosses Boston Creek right at it's base (but this is all you see), but since the creek is so twisty, pretty much everything else can't be seen without swathing upstream. You can also see this part from the road a little further up, but I just discovered this isn't the main stem of the creek...so there is plenty more to find... God I love that site... biggrin.gif
