It was originally scheduled for Oct 1, but got bumped to the "end of the year" a few months ago. Someone hacked into their computer system last week and stole the source code for the entire game, so it may be postponed again now.

I "played" a snowboarding game at Gameworks once- at least you were a bit physically active doing it. I sucked, I bet you all figured that out too.

Hey, I'm all stoked about that too, but Doom was easily the most significant game of my life. I'm gonna be sorely disappointed if D3 doesn't have a similar spooky-hellish atmosphere. Plus, it gives me an excuse to go by a new mobo/processor.
I haven't been following HL2, but I guess I'll have to do some investigation.
