... you can say "I went to the Hoh" without giggling.
... your local hockey team plays teams from places like Moose Jaw, Regina, Medicine Hat, Kamloops, Kelowna, "Tri-Cities"(?), and Kootenay.
... you meet Patty Murray and expect her to be actually wearing tennis shoes.
... you complain about the NW Forest pass even though you go hiking 30 times a year, so it only costs a dollar each time, but you don't complain about the dollar to park each time at Marymoor park off-leash area, since it's only a dollar.

Ok, true test here. How many of you REALLY know what the "Green Death" is?
If you do just say I do, dont let it out. We'll see how many do.
And I dont mean you ole sluggo.
Hmm. Dante and I obviously do.
Ugh!

Do you think I for sure know, or that I don't? 'Cause I do, of course. I used to hang out with 4-wheeling, gun-toting, cop-wanna-be types from Harborview's security "force" (five guys with radios and flashlights!) They turned me on to "half racks" and the terrible "green death". We used to drive up exit 38 off I-90 and shoot off about $100 in ammo. I had a little 9 shot .22 revolver that was like a little pop gun compared to my friends' guns. I remember I sold it at a pawn shop for twenty bucks. Ah, the memories...

Green Death ....I thought all of those memories were gone or had been "purged". Haven't thought about that in years! Hey Sluggo, it's funny that 4-wheelin and shootin seem to go hand in hand with the green death.

I have no idea what green death is. As for half-rack ---- that was a term I used way back when I drank domestic beer. I don't think you can get microbrews in half-racks.

There was even a Team Green Death bike racing group.

I'm not sure but I think I know what you are talking about. If so, I'll keep my big mouth shut.

I'm pretty sure I know what the green death is. Wiped out enough brain cells with it.

I didn't know what green death was so I googled it and came up with this. BPJ, I never would have guessed.

Well, I haven't ever seen the green death, but I have seen the original TV runs of all the Rainier beer commercials (the motorcycle one was my fav.) I also remember the great Ivar's commercials as well, but that was when Ivar's served great seafood back in the 70's.
