The Lookout Cookbook
Found this on the Forest Service History web page hosted by Duke University. Great resource on the history of national forests and the people that worked for them. I've been mining it for research data and just wanted to wet your appetite to go explore it. Enjoy.

Too cool. Thanks a lot.
(Although I'd have to say that "Rinctum Diddie" probably won't be the first recipe I try from this!)

That was great. I started renting a lookout in the Sisters area, annually, about five years ago, and I've since become quite enamoured with lookouts. This adds fuel to the fire
Thanks,
Cliff

This includes an extensive supply/shopping list for the lookout as well as diet and health tips that are a good read.
