The Lookout Cookbook Found this on the Forest Service History web page hosted by Duke University. Great resource on the history of national forests and the people that worked for them. I've been mining it for research data and just wanted to wet your appetite to go explore it. Enjoy.

That was great. I started renting a lookout in the Sisters area, annually, about five years ago, and I've since become quite enamoured with lookouts. This adds fuel to the fire smile.gif Thanks, Cliff

My short-term memory is not as sharp as it used to be. Also, my short-term memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

1939 Cookbook Supplement This includes an extensive supply/shopping list for the lookout as well as diet and health tips that are a good read.
