... Is hidden. Maybe I'm not the best landmark finder, but DWHMvol1 did not help whatsoever. it said "b-2"= easy. Not easy whatsoever. If anyone has been there, I'd really be interested in knowing where I took the wrong turn. The book said, cross the creek, turn left on the trail above the creek, you will come to a big rock, walk around rock and climb hillside to switch-backs. We saw no "definite" trail. We saw no "big rock". I climbed and climbed and climbed and found an awesome waterfall, but no mine. Maybe it's Karma for not having permission to enter the private property
I'll try again some other day.

Many members of our group have visited the BQ mine and the directions in the book are a little messed up but you where very close the property is no longer private property so hope you get back up there soon also farther up the main road is the St. Louis mines they are nicer and more easy to find good luck on your hunt

Chris, welcome! Though I probably won't be entering too many mines I've enjoyed reading about the history and details of all the mines in your group's books. Thanks and keep up the exploring & research. M&S
