FIRST SKI TRIP OF SEASON!! Bought the sno-park last night. Slept in for a late start. It was wet snow at the pass but road was fine. The bottom part of the road was ice as folks had been driving on it. Snow got better as you go up . Rather than go to lakes we went to a viewpoint above. Maybe three feet of snow there. Many more snoshoers than skiers. Too fast a trip down. Had to take skis off for last 1/4 mi. because of rocks and people, it huts bad to fall. A few views of Rampart from the top no pics. A fine time was had by all

Sounds like fun. Was there 3 weekends ago? got stuck in snow with 2wd truck. Parked down, made Katwalk in about an hour from there. Bushwackin', that is.....
