Does anyone know if the Stevens Canyon Road and/or 410 over Chinook Pass are open in MRNP? The estimated dates on the park website are at least a week ago. Any been up there in the last 2 weeks and can give a snow report? I can't make long distance calls from work for personal reasons or I'd just call. tongue.gif

Looks like there was a recent trip up that way by one of the members. The last post under: What's everybody doing... Looks like the weather has been just crazy...I am eager for the area to get a bit more stable so I can start exploring the fifes peaks area.

Chinook is open, but there may be snow on it. We were gonna camp at Lodgepole last weekend, but it started snowing, so we hoofed it back, and there was 1 1/2 inches of fresh snow on the pass that wasn't there 2 hours prior. And I think Stevens is open. Sone guy asked the ranger at Ohanapecosh when we stopped, and it sounded if it was clear, but he didn't say specifically.
