Just thought I'd pass this along - I tried something new for blisters this past Tuesday while hiking Si and it worked like a charm. For those of you who suffer from blisters as I do, I tried this new medical tape from 3M, called "Durapore". It's made for people with sensitive skin, and my wife bought it for our daughter. It's 1" wide and has kind of a textured finish to it. I wrapped a little around each toe that usually gets hot and then stuck some to my heels and I didn't get a single blister the other day. I normally use moleskin but I'm always looking for a quicker and easier thing to use than moleskin. I've tried duct tape and other tapes, but when my feet heat up the glue on the tape melts and make things sticky, including the wool sock. This stuff didn't do that. Anyway, there it is FWIW. Cliff

My short-term memory is not as sharp as it used to be. Also, my short-term memory's not as sharp as it used to be.
