Dicentra and I headed up Hwy 410 this morning to FS 73 to get in some snowshoeing. We had pretty nice weather when we got going. We headed up towards Suntop as the Huckleberry Creek road "trail" does not have enough snow on it yet. Twas a nice snowshoe, a good workout with a good friend and hiking partner! The snow started falling on our way down which was very pretty-though the wind was howling by the time we hit the sno park..... But hey, hot chocalte at the Greenwater General Store warmed us up fast up.gif

Hi again, Sarbar How bad was 410 to drive in terms of snow and/or black ice? Snow-free? Looks like you got into quite a bit of snow up there. Nice photos. Karen

No snow on 410-it was really nice actually! Heavily sanded and clear. FS 73 was packed snow when we came in, but when we left it was mostly melted-I'd not want to do it after dark though. The potholes at the bridge crossing were nice and deep though!! Nice driving conditions smile.gif The snow starts a liitle before Federation Forest on 410.

Hi Sarbar, Sounds like the snow level was pretty low if it was already showing up at Federation Forest .... Karen
