Not enough of a hike to count as a hike -- it's my sanctuary spot, Seward Park (it won't be that way in the summer, too many people then). It looked like the weather was better in the mountains today than it was down here near Puget Sound/Lake Washington. But here's a rainy day photo (slightly enhanced) and what I consider appropriate for a Happy New Years photo too (my cat, Marten, alseep next to the Christmas tree in the chair I got for Christmas). Well, when my boyfriends 18 lb all white cat says it is HIS, I let him have it tongue.gif Otherwise he might suffocate me at night wink.gif I love sleeping kitties-especially tiger striped sweeties!

White Cat
Wow, an 18 pound white cat? Just out of curiosity, is the cat deaf? A lot of white cats are. I've got a 19 pound cat -- a Siamnese Mix -- he is huge. Part of it is simply because he eats too much but he is also large boned. Yes, cats can be large boned too, they really can. Karen PS I wonder who has had the most cats on their lap at one time. I might win this one. Just a few nights ago I took a nap sitting on the couch and when I woke up I had THREE cats on my lap and I am not fat. One was on my ankles, one was on my thighs, and the other was in my lap. I felt like I was being snuggled in a living blanket. They were all purring. It was really neat.
