Absolutely ignorant when it comes to this sizing and kilobiting the picture thing. What do I do? I have a pic that the only thing I can tell on it, is that it is a JPEG that is 203 kb. I do not have this Photoshop thing, and the only one that I can find on my computer is something called Adobe Photodeluxe Home Edition 3.1. Is it going to be possible to get this picture fixed, or is there an alternate route for me to go? Thanks for the help...I hope! NOAH.

In photodeluxe there should be something like size, photo size, resize, ... If you are resizing a picture for your avatar, resize it to no larger than 120 pixels wide or 150 pixels high. In photodeluxe, to save with the appropriate jpeg quality you have to do something like file, export, jpeg, and when the jpeg quality screen comes up choose something like jpeg quality 6 or less.

Well, that definitely worked. I am going to have to find a better picture, or play around a little with this to get a good image on there. Looks quite fuzzy to me...or that could just be because I am up a little late. Thanks for the help! NOAH.

After resizing try filter, unsharp mask to restore the sharpness lost from resizing.

Hmm. Now it looks a little better, I think. I guess the better way than scanning a pic would be to just have one taken off a digital camera, is that correct? Thanks again for all the help!
