What scanned version? These are digital photos...i.e. of digital origin. Image resolution really depends on the camera used to take the picture.
I should change my answer above from "Nope." to "Possibly." It really depends on the age of the equipment and/or price of the setup at your local Kinko's, Fred Meyer, WalMart, etc.
Older systems used inkjet output on glossy photo paper...basically if you didn't have a photo-quality inkjet printer at home, you can use the one in-store for a price.
Newer systems output using the same paper and process as traditional photos...they just use a digital file as the source instead of film. Source can be from a CD-ROM or any of the 6 or 7 major memory card formats (XD, SD, CF-I, CF-II, MemoryStick, etc.).
The system reads in your files as you tell it which photos you'd like to have printed. When you're done reviewing the photos from your media, you take your CD-ROM or memory card and go on your way. Photos print up tout suite.

Still, I don't know if a professional photographer would lower themselves to use a Kinkos photo printer service.

To clarify - Kinkos has BOTH a scanner for prints, and a CD Tray / Memory card slots, all on the same do-it-yourself machine. The back of the paper from the shots I had done says Sony, so it's probably not the best choice for professional enlargements.

Right. So that's probably the same machine they have at Fred Meyer's?

You may also want to take a look at http://www.photoworks.com/, a good old-fashioned Seattle-based company. They don't do prints larger than 8x10, but they do great prints. I use ezprints.com for 11x16 and 18x24 prints.
