Wow what a day.I got to the upper parking lot of the Alpental road at 11:30am. Despite the the do not enter posts,I felt I would not have any problem's with returning skier's from the the backcountry area.I only saw two skier's coming out as I was on my way up to source lake. from there I headed up the headwall towards chair peak. I then traversed the ridge east towards snow lake.I then headed down to the lake via the summer route. I went over by the old shelter dug in for almost two hours, drunk a few ice cold Budwiesers, took a few pictures ,and went on my merry way back to the car.

There are times when BAD beer is better than NO beer at all. Thankfully those times are few and far between. TB

That's quite a hike, Mountain Man! And more fine weather on the way. Keep that Bud cold and have yourself a Crotalus day!
