Who are these pitchers that the Ms have going? I’ve never heard of them.
Seriously? Four of the five guys who were in the rotation last year when the M's made their fabulous run to the almost 2nd wildcard? King Felix continuing to set career marks? And you consider yourself an M's fan? If I didn't know better, I'd say you were being a bit snarky. rolleyes.gif

The Mariners should stay in Japan, at least people would show up for their games.
Don’t worry. The next 4 games will be sellouts. Looking forward to enjoying the games on Th and Sun at Fenway West!

Nope. Never heard of them. Was the fabulous run you speak of before or after the clubhouse brawl and a season that ended on game number 162? These are the things that stick out in my mind regarding last years Ms.

I believe there was a no taunting request by the admin for this thread.

Perhaps I'll can just redirect Layback's posts to the Boston Red Sox thread so he can listen to his echo. wave.gif

Not a taunt. Just questioning the logic here. Close only counts in hand grenades and horseshoes. You need to be able to dish it out and take it. Who knows. You just might even win the series and throw it back in my face. Tom, if I’m truly just and echo, why is it that you’re responding? Can’t wait for the series. Who else is going? There’s going to be a lot of Sox fans cheering on the world champs. No doubt about it!

I think I've been more than fair with you here. It's obviously a lost cause so bye-bye.

Looking forward to the series. Go Sox! My prediction is Sox take games 1,2 and 4. Ms take game 3.

Rough game for Sox fans but the Mariners played wicked good. Sale not so much. 3-0 for the Ms. Let’s see what tomorrow brings with Nasty Nate on the mound.

I had largely the same expectation as you, so was watching the NCAAs. Kinda shocked to find out about it after the fact, although they say you win 60 and lose 60, it's what you do with the other 42 games that matters. Of more concern to Sox fans, I suppose, is Sale's velocity being down a couple mph this spring. We've seen how well that played out with Felix the last three seasons, although it appears he was in denial and didn't take making appropriate adjustments seriously.

GREAT home opener win vs Boston! 710 am was saying that one of the most dangerous teams in sports is one that nobody expects will do anything, yet the players are young, with opportunities to play, and have something to prove. 2019 M's = The Cleveland Indians team from the movie "Major League"!

The 2004, 2007 and 2018 Red Sox all started 0-1. In 2018 the Red Sox won their next 9 games and 17 of their next 18. Tell me again about your 3-0* start please. *Doesn’t reflect real time data.

Doesn't matter, the Yanks will leave the Sox in the dust!
