Went up the Perry Creek trail to the falls this morning and had the place entirely to myself except for meeting a couple of hikers on my way out. A few clouds and sunbreaks made for nice views of the waterfalls coming down off Stilliguamish Peak into the valley. The trail is completely free of snow up until about the last 1/4 mile before the falls where shallow and easily walkable snow still lingers.
Drove over to the Marten Creek trailhead and did an afternoon stroll to almost the end of the trail (where exactly is the official "end" to this trail anyway?). Hail started falling out of the sky at one point, but the clouds broke up enough to offer some views out to Liberty Mtn. and Granite Pass from some clearings in the trees. Turned around where a small creek crosses the trail and where there was also some major blowdown blocking the way. Trail was completely free of any snow.
