Great day for an outing, soft snow was still everywhere near the top. Lots of people glissading, snowshoeing, sliding, etc. Excellent views all around from the summit and just a little hazy off in the distance. High clouds moving in from the West as I made my way back to the car.

Pepper, what time did you go out? I was hiking Dickerman on Sunday, left the trailhead at 12:25pm, with my dog Scout. That was some great glissading down from the summit! up.gif

Nothing I can sing will bring you back. Not the songs of a hundred horses running until they become wind. Not the personal song of the rain who makes love to the earth.

Made it to the trailhead by 11:00 AM and reached the summit by @1:45 with many view breaks along the way. Ate lunch with a couple of hikers at the top and headed back to the car. Reached the car by 5:00. Wish had brought a garbage bag along or had worn something a little more waterproof as sitting while sliding down the hills looked like a lot of fun, although the glissading wasn't too bad (I was testing as to whether cotton kills, but it didn't this time - it just got wet)

So I would have ran into you. I remember a guy and girl, I asked him about his Trango plastic boots. There was an older guy with a gray beard and his wife. The only people I passed up and didn't talk to was a couple of people that were hanging out on a rock outcropped clearing just below where the snowline starts. Maybe that was you...
