There is a nice copy of Teanaway Country at the Crossroads Half Price Books for $35. It's in the hiking book section not the vintage book section.

I picked up that book (before becoming aware of your post) during the Labor Day weekend 20%-off sale, Teanaway Country, A Hiking and Scrambling Guide to Washington's Central Cascades. The unofficial name of the peak west of Bean Peak in the Bean Creek Basin, is Mary Peak, named after the the book's author and long-time Mountaineers member, Mary Sutliff.

There is a nice used copy of Bruce Tremper's book (latest edition), Staying Alive in Avalanche Terrain, at the Crossroads Half Price Books for $7.99. It's in the Outdoor > Backpacking and Camping section of the store. Good price on what's widely regarded as one of the authoritative books about avalanche awareness.

For those bibliophiles who live in the Seattle area…this morning I saw a copy of Fred Darvill's 1998 book "Hiking the North Cascades" in excellent condition at ReRead Books in Edmonds WA for just $3.95.
