Today I notice there is a slick polar bear photo that is part of my avatar collection. I think I know who the prankster is--and trust me, at some point the prank will be returned! lol.gif
It's interesting how these bears can strike poses similar to that of humans--almost makes them seem not dangerous at all. http://imp.uow.edu.au/staff/feen/polarbear/pb_gall01.html

Hey polarbear, if I didn't know better I'd think you uploaded this one with intents to sneak it into my profile lol.gif.

That bear looks pretty smart. While everyone else was merely jabbering about the latest gear, he already has bought it and is evidently putting it to good use. lol.gif Kudos for this bear. I wonder what kind of bug repellant that smarty is using. I see no bugs in the picture. Note that if you packed up the hammock, you could not tell that anyone has been there. This is traceless camping. I personally have no problem telling bears like this about my favorite secret spots. I have a gut feeling that he doesn't filter his water either, yet notice the shiny fur and healthy glow.

Polarbear, although this thread is over a year old... I find it my duty to bump it back to the top and notify you of some recent developments. paranoid.gif

Here's evidence of irresponsible polarbear behavior.. and under the influence is no excuse. Those poor submariners just want some fresh air.. http://www.strategypage.com/gallery/default.asp?target=bear_sub1.htm

Who is irresponcible? I thought drilling wasn't allowed in the arctic, even by accident. Some polar bears may get out of line but most are community leaders, do trail maintenance, are friendly to fellow locals, and don't make waves.

Those are cute. NN

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

My only experience with polar bears was, unfortunately for the bear, a flat out unpleasant one!
