This peak near Darrington was climbed on Saturday. It was foggy for most of the day and finding the true summit is a little tricky when shroaded in clouds. The profile of the summit block looks like an elephant though with a bulky head in the center and two ears off to the side. Knowing this will help you on the ascent as there are two false summits which climbers better than I have mistaken for the true top. Way down at the Squire Creek road is an immense landslide. If you are in the area of Darrington it is worth the short trip over to see. You will be wowed.
