The BEST facility I have ever used (and I have used a lot!) was the one at camp below Grand Teton at the saddle. It has a deck that hangs out over the west side of the saddle, with a waist high fence around the immediate toilet. If you can't view eastern Oregon over all of Idaho, you are certainly led to believe so. It is incredible. Both the Owen-Spalding and Exum routes begin there.

As an aside to the thread....last winter after snowshoeing to Ollalie Lake, I had the urge. but since I knew there was an outhouse at the TH I held on. But to my surprise, when we reached the TH, I found the door was padlocked and a sign was posted stating "closed for the season". I didn't know there was a season for s**ting! Next theing you know, the forest service will require a license to use a loo ....in the proper season.

Best Privy I have been to.
It is on South Point. While you are sitting there you have a view of Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. The privy is on top of the peak near a wall so there is not too many obstructed views. If you walk 10 yards towards Mt. Adams, or Mt. St. Helens you will fall off of the rock wall.
Nice hike to it.

Summerland MRNP. Almost like a shelter. It even has a Purelle dispenser inside!
My hair's turning white, my neck's always been red, my collor's still blue.

Any outhouse beats a evening visit to a Walmart bathroom.

Just make sure you aren't on the bottom floor when someone is using the upper floor...

The one on Sahale Arm is pretty nice. Would make a good place to read and digest War and Peace.

This is one of my favorites. It needs a little work, but the view is still just as good as ever. Watch out for the bolts!

picture this:
large glacier in a bowl surrounded by 7000+meter mtns.
Annapurna Sanctuary just below Mt Annapurna. the "toilet" was 2 slabs of basalt(?) with a 2" gap between them. Privacy? hehe just 2 bamboo screens (guess they figure it's ok if climbers see your barebutt from 1000meters above you). Incredible views!, but save it for morning, as temps get to -10degree F. at nite(75deg. daytime)...during the summer!
Oh, and be careful, I saw a "friendly" scavenging dog, um, grab dinner just as someone was "providing" it....ewwwwwwwwwwwwww
