Don't worry, this is not a TR. I'm just curious about the history of Denny Lake, if any. No rush, just curious. Oddly enough, it had never occurred to me that there was such a lake. Karen

I always wondered about it too. Specifically, if there was ever a route up from Denny Creek. I've been in there a couple times and it's got a real lonely feel to it for being so close to I-90.

Randy, from looking at the lake it looks like it's pretty well protected by lots of trees and vegetation. Indiana Jones might want to look for a route. It looks difficult to access but it sure is a pretty lake from the ridge. Karen

Ummm…. It really wasn’t that bad. However the route from Cad to Crystal really sucked (what did I do with my machete?). Crystal to the lookout has a defined trail all the way. The only real bummer of the day was I for got my camera. Denny is a nice lake, but wasn’t really worth the effort.

I just got done doing the hike to Denny Lake a month ago. Nice hike, but WOW what a hike down to the camp ground and back up again! One thing I did not know you need to make a call and find out if the camp ground is full or not. frown.gif Lucky I was able to camp with some folks and got my own site the next day. Here is the number if any newbies like me that might need it in the future. Camp Host: 1-877-444-6777 Laters, Shels

Also FYI: My grammar SUCK ASS, but I am working at it. wink.gif Thanks Shels
