My virtual hiking buddy Tom (hey what's up with all these hikers named Tom ) sent me this Ingalls Lake trip report. He got some nice shots and I thought some of you might find it helpful for guaging snow conditions in the area...

Thanks Tom. Those are probably the best photos I've ever seen of Ingalls & Stewart. I hike there ever September and it's one of our favorite hikes. We usually leave a car in the Teaneway side, hike up to Ingalls and Stewart, spend the night staring at the mountains and stars and then hike out the 16 miles along the Ingalls Creek trail to that parking lot on the other side of the pass, where we have a second car waiting. It's easy since it's almost all downhill, but you get a permenant kink in your neck from staring at all the mountains on the north ridge of the valley - the "edge" of the Enchantments!
Thanks for sharing the pics.
