I'm thinking I could get by with 3 good lenses. I'd like one excellent GP lens, and good tele and macro lenses. Any suggestions on specs/brands for a set of 3? Or could I get by with 2? Cost matters but I don't want to scrimp too much.

Is "Minolta" taboo here? I know there's lots of gurus here that have opinions on lenses. C'mon, I promise not to take any really good shots on purpose.
