I was wondering if anyone knows what used to be at the top of Mtn Peak in Enumclaw? I can see the remains of a foundation and I assume it was a fire watch tower....anyone know for sure? Too bad so many of these towers were destroyed... Thanks.....

Karen wrote this report about Mt. Peak (or Pinnacle Peak or Pete's Peak) and said there used to be a fire lookout there, but it was removed in the '60's.

A fuxk, why do I not give one?

mt.peak
I hiked up pinnacle peak several times and visited the look out person.I'm not sure why everyone calls it mt.peak but if I remember correctly a bench marker or one of those brass survey markers next to it says pinnacle peak. The lady in the tower called it that also.
