Reuben, major changes for me, too! Ahem! They were turquoise, but they were murder on my feet! Anyway, it's great to hear from you! Gosh, it's been a few years I think! We should get together for a hike one of these days!

We camped at Blue Lake when our kids were two-years-old after carrying them on a fantastic dayhike on Rainbow Ridge. It is actually quite pretty, however: 1. It is a very short hike in; too short to be a worthwhile backpacking trip. 2. It is extremely buggy. We did not do the adjacent Dock Butte trail. That looks on the maps like a good hike.
