Hint: The thing is extremely valuable and difficult to manage, as evidenced by it being chained and locked to the mountain.

I got it! It's a jewelry hanging thingy; so you can remove and hang up all your rings, watches and necklaces that you wouldn't want to lose on the trail; that and your car keys. That's why it's chained and bolted to the ground! agree.gif

There's no bears in the Horse Heaven Hills, so it's prolly a mouse pole for hanging your food.

A fuxk, why do I not give one?

I saw that very thing on a Starbucks' barista's eyebrow, once.

It's an AGD, though in an unusual location I must admit.

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

Did you notice the way it has different numbers of hooks at different levels towards the bottom? There's an important reason for that!

Ok, so does it have to do with wildlife then? I think it's the starting line for a bird race. You put your birdy on your numbered perch, then when the horn is blown, the race is on!...like horse racing but with birds. And without gates.

Opinions expressed here are my own.

Another one!
Another one!
I knew I had seen one of these before. While scanning some old slides of my trip to the orient, I came across this one. The Taiwanese lady assured my that my miniature racing roaches would love their new scratching post.

OK here's another clue: THere's a handle on top so it can be removed each season it's used.
