Thanks for the link to the TR. Did you get any pictures of the area? I'd really like to see what's burned or not. It sounds like a lot of burn around Windy, but not in Horseshoe Basin itself. How about around Horshoe Mountain? Or east toward Haig Peak? That area had beatiful larch slopes when I was there in Fall 2004. I've been wondering what's left.
The border marker and border cuts crossing Armstrong are cool, but unfortunately that darned border also deprived Armstrong of a place in the Top 200. The American high point has enough elevation, but it doesn't have prominence because of the higher summit on the Canadian side.
