Those are the Blues that are in SE Washington. Oregon has its share of the Blues and also the Wallowas (NE Oregon) Lotsa good stuff in NE Oregon.
Bushwhacking is so much sweeter when you have Devils Club to enjoy. We don't get the stuff over here but we make up for it with ticks and rattlers.

Eric & dean..thanks for 'splaining where this gorgeous place is.
I can't say enough how beautiful it was just wandering around at 6000 plus feet on the ridges..views were everywhere...mmmmmmmmm.
Marta, thanks for the flower ID...I am not sure what the purple ones are...sorry for those that asked.
