This is more informational, apologies about my lack of story telling skills.
At work so camera, will add those later.
A few of us went up on Sunday to summit on Monday. We were caught in some rather nasty weather and didn't even make it to lunch counter as we had about 20ft of visibility at around 3pm with some expected thunderstorms on the way. (I think we camped around 7500 ft? I don't remember) Night was extremely windy and snowy. Couldn't see a damn thing.
Its icy, definitely need ice axe and crampons. Monday was beautiful wouldn't you know it, right when we had to leave to in order to get to work on time. Lame. Great views of Hood and St. Helens in the morning as they drifted above the clouds.
Oh and we saw a white fox! It was neat
