With Bob staying home today to recover from the stomach flu, I met White Dog and TwodogDad for this hike.
The trail is in excellent shape, with only a few patches of snow left near the site of the old lookout. The forecast for the area was correct! We had partly cloudy skies, with a high temperature of around 70 degrees. The male dogs found the weather to be too warm and were exhausted on the way down.
This is a great conditioning hike with nice views.

Nice one K.
We (Dani, Jasper and I) did this on the 4th of July last year. It had rained in the morning, and I got soaked by the wet vegetation, but it was hot and my clothes quickly dried out. Jasper dog was lucky to find some snow patches near the summit to cool off in.
Nice workout. 13 miles and 4800 ft. gain
Looks like you guys had decent weather
We did this one last June and got really, really soaked
