Joined the masses hiking to Lake Serene on this beautiful day!
Back in January I went snowshoeing to Bridal Veil Falls, so I was looking forward to seeing this area under warmer conditions.
Parking lot was almost full, but relatively quiet since I didn't arrive until about 10:30a.m.
Lots of people on the trail... came across a Trail Crew on their lunch break (assumed it was WTA, don't really know) and met a Mountaineers group along the way as well.
The waterfalls seemed to be flowing a bit harder on the return trip... but it sure was pleasant to soak in the mist of the tumbling water on the way down.
Not quite ready to be done, I took the spur trail to Bridal Veil Falls and got four more shots before the memory card was full. A sure sign that I need to head home I guess.
As usual, my photos don't seem to do the area justice. Hopefully I'll have a new camera for my next outing.

Nice pictures Elivs, looks like you had an enjoyable hike. Thanks for sharing.

Nice. It's hard to photograph Lake Serene, because the cliffs and lake are so up close, you can't get any perspective. You did as well as possible, nice.

Thanks for the comments S_T, Akula & Foist.
The shots looked nice on the camera LCD... but not-so-good once back home... although they do look better when posted in the trip report.
Whatever.
Regardless, now I see why it's so popular for the masses ... even with the rocky trail and elevation.
