Here's the ultimate "Mere Mortal" trip report!
First stop Saturday morning was on Bainbridge Island at the garden open of Little and Lewis. These guys have created a small garden into a stunning jewel.

We’d won a free overnight stay at Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort and our room had a terrific view of Agate Pass. We ignored the casino and instead visited Chief Sealth’s grave and the longhouse.

A tribal wedding was in session on the grounds in front of our room. We observed the native dances, drum music and “gifting” by the bride and groom to their honored guests.
Sunday morning we headed up to Hansville where our favorite secret beach is located;
Foulweather Bluff Preserve. It’s got everything: a walk through the woods, Olympic Mountains & Hood Canal bridge views, wide beaches, a marsh for wildlife and birds, and solitude. Don’t go there, but here’s the link for all the rules to follow if you do:

Galadriel....cool photos! Foulweather is an old favorite of mine although I haven't been for too long. I used to love the curved cedar that hung out over the beach although I didn't see it in your photos. Still there????
Keep reporting on those off beat cool sites!!!

Lookout Bob,
I didn't see the curved cedar, perhaps it fell. The cliffs appear to be eroding and the landscape ever changing.
P.S. yes "terces" would be appropo
