OK, so I always thought that a state cannot have two cities with the same name... but, after looking at MetroGuide USA for MapSource, I noticed that there exists two towns by the name of Granite Falls.
I know of the one in Snohomish County as it is a favorite vacation spot of mine, but there also exists a Granite Falls on the shore of Lake Chelan in Chelan County... I thought that the town may be an old defunct logging town but even the USGS has it listed on their website. What's going on here?

That Granite Falls is a private resort, and they probably stole the name from Granite Creek, which flows into Lake Chelan.
A fuxk, why do I not give one?
