I was searching through the UW Digital Collections and thought it might be fun to compare one of the shots I found to one I had taken. I guess the trees grew back. Anyone else have a comparison to share?

I'm sure you might. Just do a search on a lake or a peak in the digital library and maybe you'll find one that you have.
Edit: Bet you might have this one of Chetwoot...

Nothing quite says "oasis" like a chain-link fence topped with barbed wire!

Those are some fantastic comparison shots!
Anyone else found that it's tough to get the same photo because you aren't using a large format camera? |

Not quite the same perspective, as I am close to where the bridge the ladies are standing on. Not to mention the other photographer is on the other side of Elliot creek as I am. But it is the same waterfall in the background.
The Bridge is part of the old road to the Penn mining headquarters at Goat laek.

I'm not quite sure why, but for some reason I really enjoy these "then and now" comparison shots! |
