I was actually out there late last week, just wandering the roads a bit since I had some business in Marblemount. The tree across the road that accesses Snowking Mountain has been cleared (well enough anyway...). The road is now open to the washout which has acted as the trailhead for the last several years. There is one eroded creek channel that might give passenger cars a problem, but there was a pretty normal car parked at the trailhead (forget what kind).
I went out to Found Lake about a week and a half ago. We made it out there in our rental sedan. It rained on us the whole trip, so it was pretty rough. Didn't get any views off Kindy Ridge because we were so fogged in.

Hiking up that trail (and down) in the rain would SUCK major proportions.

Carrying skis and ski boots up and down it was more than enough for me. Though skiing to/from the summit, which started for us right where the steepness eases off (June a bunch of years ago), was worth it.
