Thanks for the info H Hound. I will take longer to look around next time I am in the area. It certainly would have been cool to see an old ore cart. The things I took pictures of, but did not post were some rusty cans, a cut wood pile, and another very small foundation.

Finally was able to register on this crazy thing. The little scramble at the top was at first a little nerving, but turned at not bad at all. Should have brought the wine to the top! With the freeway they're making to the top, would expect that they'll throw in a cable on the rock. wink.gif Thanks for another great hike, everyone!

There is a large cable draped over the pinnacles on the NW ridge I assume it was from a mining operation as there was not a spar up that high, There are also the remnants of an old cabin after you traverse the basin just before the scramble.
