"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
Well, I think so, Brain, but "apply North Pole" to what?

One of those great mysteries that will likely remain. I think the $6K they found on the riverbank was enough to convince me he didn't make it.

Not ON the river bank.. Deep in the sand. They had to dig for it. They figured it landed in one of the high lakes in the area, then washed down into the river, then washed up on shore and got buried.

It would be interesting to see a map showing where he bailed, where the cash was, and the surrounding terrain. I think they only have a vague idea of where he jumped since no one saw him do it.

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

The impression I got, really, was that man's brother was a closeted (to his family) gay man, not a plane hijacker.

Is anyone missing a clip-on tie?

Not at all. All the St Helens devastation was to North side of the mountain. Some of his money turned up on a sand bar in Vancouver confirming that he probably bailed out near the Wind River, south of the mountain, where they originally searched along the flight path.
I was on a search for a missing hunter on the South side of St Helens when this happened. The FBI recruited some our searchers from our base camp on Yale Lake to go look for him. The weather was pretty bad that entire week in November.
