as it was, my butt was tired by the time we got to Round Lake, and I told the boys to go on ahead to the bump and I'll hang out; Magellan nonchalantly said, "you can see Glacier Peak from there." That's all I needed - I pulled the lead out and went to the bump too.

Quark, Looks like a great trip to that other "Lost tributary". Glad you warned me about Magellan's singing so I can stock up on ear plugs for May. hockeygrin.gif All, Enjoyed the pics and the stories. This one is definitely on my list for next summer.

Lost Creek Ridge
Great TR and nice photos of one of my favorite hikes. Of course, it gets better and better the farther along on the Ridge you travel. Never the less, Glacier Peak is available to wonder about, blow kisses and smooch....albeit, with a bit of air-space between. Ditto, Sloan. Like the curled up gopher-man with Pugh rising beyond. That is Pugh? Go to Sun-up Lake next time. It is terrific and most photgenic.

Sounds like a great time was had by all! Also, looks like some fantastic scenery. My "to do" list just got a little bit longer. It's growing so fast I'll never be able to catch up. Yeh!

I think there's an easier way on the far side

Yes, it's Pugh. Unmistakeable profile Pugh.

Conrad, you either have a photographic memory or have been spending WAY too much time poring over the 101 hikes book. bugeyes.gif I assume this is the photo you meant:

There are a lot of those peek-around-the-corner type views on the ridge trail. Here are the videos. What the hell is going on here? What is this woman looking for? Sloane and Bedal Pano from our highpoint
