My plan was to fish all weekend but the recon trip on Saturday said no for Sunday. So during coffee with Mrs. Jimbo I asked for a pass to play in the woods. She said ok but please tell me your not headed for that trail with the gun nut you been talking about .
Made the trail bout 09:00 and off I went. Nice early trips here means no one els on the trail. Coming down to Huberd lake you can hear the water rushing into. And on the outlet side the same. But when you cross the $50,000 bridge I've been told there's not a drop in the creek bed ?
Lake
About the time you enter the woods from the road you can here the water and see it in the creek ? I was amazed at how many tree's come down this year. First bridge crossing was a little slick.
The rail line crossed some creek's and the only rems of a bridge are these up rights.
Along the way you can see junk on stump.
A telephone pole missing the insulator.
The kiln.
Old brick from spokane.
So about 11:00 I wind up at the river and set up for some lunch.
Hit the spot on a cool day. Rest of the trip was just pounding it out back to parking lot. Started running into folks about half way back. Lot's of Dogs to, glad they were on leashes. I hate it when they run wild and try to act like Kujo.
I like this part of the trail for some reason ?
And I found out while bush whacking for new finds that Stinging nettles are still in stinging mode
