Thought we would give this one a try while it was still free and hasn't turned to mush. Started at the Silver Fir lift at Central and skinned up a track then over to Grand Junction on I-90. 1-2' of soft fluff then dirt below 24 * F. @ other guys there and one friendly unleashed dog. Once past GJ ours were the only tracks.
Proceeded up normally groomed trails to where Nordic Pass route takes off.
Markings quickly led to pass
It was surprisingly good with few if any obstacles making for a fast return. Got in a few turns on the downhill runs.

The skiing looks great! It's a good idea to slip in there before the ski lifts open and they start charging $$$. Did you go all the way to Nordic Pass? I can't believe that there is enough snow to cover all of the obstacles.
