Gusto quickly learned about not stepping on the back of your shoes! Bravo, Gusto: I haven't learned this trick yet. Boone

My beloved Hysson (who was also supposed to be an assistance dog, but flunked his puppy exam due to an overbite) wants to welcome Gusto to this forum! Woof! Woof! [Dictated by Hysson]

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.--E.Abbey

Our Sparrow has a bit of an overbite as well. She takes Prozac for it! biggrin.gif

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there.

Glad to hear you have a new friend in Gusto. I love the Iron Creek area; one of my favorite spring hikes. And folks are right...there aren't enough parking spaces for winter fun. Thanks for the report and photos!

I see Gusto likes to roll around in the snow as much as I do. Welcome to NWH family, Gusto! By the way do you have a girlfriend? (Jasper never returns my calls)

If it's small and furry and moves, I must kill it.

Welcome Gusto! You look handsome in all those snowballs. Back off sis, I saw him first!

It's all about comfort.....plush toys, down bedspreads.....deep down I'm just a pillow hog.

Oh great, a bunch of pushy, aggressive NWHiker babes - poor Gusto - he won't know what hit him! And be careful about how personal you get about his endowments! embarassedlaugh.gif Yes, he became quite addicted to the white stuff - sad, very sad. But I'll do all I can to support his habit! agree.gif The Driver

Gusto & The Driver
Surely a match made in heaven! cheers.gif I'm happy that you found one another. Some of the joy seemed to have gone out of your reports since you lost Sadie, but now it's back. Here's to many more adventures for you both! party.gif Bug

The video made me laugh, obviously Gusto is a true snow dog! Do you know if he got out in the snow much with his prior owner? I always find it funny to watch a dog who has never seen/been in snow jump in for the first time -- the reactions can be varied. smile.gif My sister's dog barked at the snow the first time she was in it.

Opinions expressed here are my own.

Looks like Mr. Big has some competition with the beyotches on this site...welcome Gusto! lol.gif Mr. Big was scared of the snow when he first seen it..then he became the snowbeast that thrives in it. up.gif

He has been out in the snow before - but, he obviously loves it! When he snorts it, however, he gets brain freeze! He did bark at some cross-country skiers - don't think he was quite sure what they were! eek.gif
