Just because Canada is our biggest state does not make it the bossiest state.

I'm afraid they'll put Camilla Parker-Bowles on the money. Think they'd do that? She wears nice hats and all, and I like her a helluva lot and all, but money is forever, almost, and I'd rather look at a mountain or some other Canadian thing like....like....a yak or something. Don't yaks live in Canada? What else've they got there that would look alright on money? What will happen to Canadian bacon? They'll still put it on pizza, right? I mean they won't take it as an insult?

Canadian bacon will henceforth be known only as "bacon". The bacon we know today will be known as "gringo bacon". OCO (Our Canadian Overlords) will want to Canadify their new possession, so in addition to the bacon thing, Fourth of July will now be held on July first, and all US sitcoms will have to start having the actors say "eh?" and "aboot" a lot, which will actually improve the shows.

They'll never get Americans to learn the decimal system. Never.

I agree. I still have my recapped beer with the mouse inside in case I need it to get a free beer eh. Take us over, pleeze, We'll get the universal health care We'll get to have Ketchup chips We'll have less litter (according to the movie Canadian Bacon). We'll be cheerier. And people in other countries will like us. Oh and the Kokanee Beer will be the real thing.

What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities

It's only a $900 kajillion project, eh. Well that just burns my gringo. They're supposed to share the wealth... not go waste it...I need my healthcare, eh. shakehead.gif What a waste of Parker-Bowles.

.....leaving me wanting to return over and over in what ever capacity that may be, even if one day my knees are too old and I can only see the mountains from my porch. Jason Hummel

How our books are shelved has everything to do with it! It's the first thing a country should think of when planning on conquering another. (I did mean the metric system, but I mis-named it in my post. But it still stands that the U.S. is no where near ready to be a foreign country). So anyway, I think Canadians should go back to doing whatever it is they do. (What do they do, anyway?)

I doubt they do alot. Many I've spoken to (brazenly) say that they played hockey during school.

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.
