I was looking through some old threads and I cam across this photo of Granite Falls Granite Falls. Just curious, but is there or was there an Upper Granite Falls? The title of the photo is "Lower Granite Falls"

Certainly looked a whole lot more like a waterfall before the fish ladder was built. I'm not aware of anything that would invoke the "upper" labeling, unless there was something just upstream that was destroyed with the construction of the fish ladder.

Well if that is the case, then that is just plain sad. Destroy a waterfall to built a fish ladder for a fomerly unaccessible waterway.
