LizzyBob, Damn! No, I was hiding in the bushes trying to pee. We weren't wearing our NWhinker patches but we should have known that you two gals might have been "one of us". You were talking to Quark, Putz and JimK. I've wanted to meet you too, as I think we were at CWU around the same time eons ago.

Ahhh, ok you were emerging from the brush, and we were talking to Quark. Dang, PiB is tall! I don't usually feel short around other women, but she's a wonder of height. Neato. I was at Central 84, 85, 86. I was in that area looking at real estate. With any amount of luck I'll be living near Black Canyon in the next couple of months. Nice meeting you all. smile.gif

Yep, same time, except I did the 5 year musician plan. Small world.

Thanks for the report, looks like an area I really need to visit in the next few weeks. Enjoyed all the flora pictures, and I must say I certianly agree with Quark about the central Washington cloudscapes adding to the scenery. I think we experienced a similar phenomenon on our trip to Ancient Lakes.

Damn, I shoulda hitched a ride w/y'all. I was planning to do a central WA hike on Sat. but the words "traction tires advised" over the pass kept me & my traction-tire-lacking vehicle from getting over there. bawl.gif BTW, great TR, pics, & videos!! biggrin.gif Nice area....good to see the flowers coming out! up.gif

Not sure how I missed this when it was posted - looks like a great trip! Great pics, too - "Sweeping rain and slope" and "19 yellow bells trio" are my favorites. Thanks for sharing them! up.gif
