We spent the first two weeks of April in China. I know this is a hiking site, so I wasn't sure if I should do a trip report or not. I'm always reading everyone elses reports, so I figured I'd do a short one and just leave out all the city stuff so I could share some pictures. My brother lives in Shanghai, so we flew there and then flew down to Guilin in Southern China where we spent four amazing hours on a boat going down the Li River to Yongshuo. It was magnificent. Here are some pictures from the trip. The last ones are from the last few days of the trip when we took a train up to Beijing and then drove out into the countryside to see the Great Wall. I had a pack on, so I guess it counts as a hiking trip report!

This was taken in a village called Tongli about two hours away from Shanghai.

The Great Wall
The cherry trees were blooming for as far as we could see...which really wasn't all that far because of the fog!
