Great day to climb Baldy. Parked before Cougar Cr. and biked to trailhead. When we came down people had driven across the snow section, so it should be good from now on. We went up the Maynard Burn Alt trail with no real problems. Snowshoes came on at about 5400'. The snow was very stable with no signs of slides near us, just one big avalanche on Gray Wolf Pk.

And while you're at it, note the size of that cornice.
