For some reason the Benny Hill theme just goes so well with glissading! What strikes me the most when I go back and watch the video is just how long it took to slide back to the bottom - I wasn't going slow either. Best glissade I've done since Mt. Adams.

GLISSADE!!! Brings back memories of Granite Mountain. Great video. Hopefully I can convince others of that next week.

Okay, now I really want video of Gusto! hockeygrin.gif Opus, your Benny Hill music is a blast! Goes perfect with the "Whoo-hoo" I heard.! biggrin.gif

The glissade video was excellent and I may steal your technique. There was certainly an army of folks still climbing. Looks like everyone has figured out that the forecasts lately are a joke rotf.gif and are heading out to play anyway! Thanks for the collaborative TR

Just so everybody knows, I'm the guy he says "hi" to at 3:34 in the video :-) I don't know Opus personally, but I seem to remember him from early that morning as the guy that hiked by me so fast the windshear knocked me off my feet. Nice video!

Great video. Nice composition, even, with the water in the distance. You can actually see it get closer over the distance of the glissade.

Hi again Ivar! smile.gif Hope you enjoyed a good glissade too. I reset the speed measurement on my GPS before the glissade to see how fast I went down. If anyone heard a loud noise, that was me nearly breaking the sound barrier. clown.gif

I can't wait for Jason Hummel's comment. hockeygrin.gif Do you think he might be jealous?
