So once again, under different conditions I found myself up on Burch Ridge with my wife. It's a short drive for a hike fix. The snow is gone so it's a pleasant dirt road walk. The wildflowers are near peak, and the blue skies, warm temps, with the scenic mountain views were great.

Nice. Love those open ridges.
Larch and I have been up there several times, but always sandwiched in between family stuff in Wenatchee, so we've never had time for a real hike. Looks like we'll have to do something about that.
Did you go directly up from Sunnyslope? And if so, did you go all the way up to the gate? or take that spur that starts a little further down and heads off across the slope to the north? or something else, entirely?

Yeah. Thanks. That's where Larch and I have started. We just haven't gone very far.
